Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join our finance team at Oakmont Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and creating financial systems, managing financial reporting, handling payables and receivables, managing tax affairs, and performing other key financial functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Systems Management:

Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial systems and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Continuously assess and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.

Manage vendor and customer relationships to optimize payment terms and cash flow.

Tax Affairs:

Manage the company's tax affairs, including preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax regulations.

Liaise with tax authorities and external advisors to address tax-related matters and optimize tax planning.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with department heads to prepare budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights and guidance.

Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Ensure continuous professional development and training for the accounting team.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations.

Coordinate and support internal and external audits, addressing audit findings and implementing recommendations.

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role, preferably within a diverse business group.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
